artist + illustrator

My goal first and foremost is to make it in the world of graphic novels and illustration. I want to become a brand. I want to always be evolving. I want to push the limit of what is expected of me, of what I can do. I want to be excited and challenged every time I pick up the pencil. I want to fail, only to try again and succeed.

Happy New Year

posted in News | Add comments

So, for obvious reasons, this past week wasn’t exactly the most productive. I didn’t really get anything done except for some drinking and a lot of visiting.

It was nice seeing everyone, and I was glad that we all got a chance to catch up. We’re going to have a lot more to talk about next time. 09 is a fresh start and this time it’s going to be done properly.

All the best in the new year.

Blog #1

posted in News | Add comments

Okay, so basically I’ve never blogged before, and you know what, who cares?

I’m going to attempt to write something new every week. Most of the time it’s going to be useless information about what I’m working on, what I’ve completed, and hopefully what you (you being the one or two people who ever actually read this thing) should be on the look out for. I’m sure I’ll occasionally write about a sweet movie I’ve seen (The Spirit on December 25th) or some music that I’m bumping that week (the new Common album, and Christmas tunes {I’m a geek}). The biggest reason I want to start writting this weekly is to hold myself more accountable. Everyone who’s known me for any length of time knows that I talk a big game, but rarely back it up.

Anyways, enough about nothing, I’ve gotta go do some drawing.

Merry Christmas, happy Hanukkah, Kwanza and everything else you may be celebrating.

The response to the web site since its inception has been phenomenal. Thank you all for the positive and constructive feed back. I’ve been thrilled with the amount of commissions I have received over the last month. It’s been nice to be given the opportunity to stretch my creative muscles.
